BQE 2053
Spring Cruise Fundraiser
About
To kickoff the Institute for Public Architecture's BQE 2053 Symposium, we invite you to join us on Classic Harbor Line’s Manhattan II for a spring BQE Boat Cruise along Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn waterfront.
An AIA expert guide, along with special guests, will provide lively narration on architecture and engineering landmarks along the way, discuss environmental issues impacting urban waterfronts, and explore the potential of marine freight transport as a sustainable alternative to truck traffic along the BQE. Passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks, featuring an IPA signature cocktail, will be served.
The cruise will leave promptly at 5pm from Chelsea Piers (Pier 62) at West 22nd Street and the Hudson River. Exact meeting location details are provided upon purchase of tickets.
AIA CES: 1.5 LU | HSW Continuing Education Credits offered.
